Character Design Concept - Wolf

These characters belong to a brand new series. Yes, ANOTHER comic series. No matter how hard it might be to figure out a finished storyline for them, they ARE getting one because I love them to much. But I have ran into a problem, I love these designs but now I don't know if they should be wolves or dragons. I had originally thought they could be descendants of ancient dragons, the comic title is Dragon's Blood (which might change).  But then I wondered out pure curiosity what these guys would look like as dragons. So then enters the problem, I loved the dragon designs just as much, so I thought maybe the wolves could tap into their dragon side and turn into a dragon form but then I was like no that seems kinda silly. Then I thought about how dragons are easier to work with on the kind of story that is starting to build. I'm still not sure if these wolves being descendant of dragons, or they could just be unique to normal wolves. so if they WERE dragons I wouldn't have to worry about that. So the tie between either dragons or wolves is very tight, so after I do the dragon versions of them I am going to have you guys vote.
